Volunteers

We welcome every "drop" of voluntary service to swell into a "wave" which will bring about meaningful change throughout India. Let us pool in our efforts to stimulate "reverse migration" from urban to rural sectors, giving new meaning to the term "India Shining".

Being a volunteer at TAA means:

You could be a student who wants to add hands-on experience in the field of social engineering, as part of your school or college curriculum.
You could be working for a company or having your own business, and would like to take a meaningful break from the routine to stimulate your being within, to bring out best in yourself.
You could be a full time home maker, and would like to use your leisure time creatively by "giving back to society".

You can help children:
Teach them to speak and read English, learn computer skills, learn their subjects in a fun way, learn music, singing, sports and other creative arts, etc.

You Can contribute to the environment projects :
Alternative energy production, water conservation, waste management, waste water recycling, organic farming, etc.

You can assist us in our social entrepreneurship projects/programmes :
To empower the youth with adequate skills such that they understand the basics of entrepreneurship and self sufficiency, thus managing their own free business enterprise.

Please note that TAA conducts projects in the rural sectors as well. All volunteers will need to undergo an orientation session at the TAA Head Office, Pune. The volunteers are expected to take care of expenses for food, accommodation and travel by themselves. TAA will assist in arranging for these facilities.
