We welcome every "drop" of voluntary service to swell into a "wave" which will bring about meaningful change throughout India. Let us pool in our efforts to stimulate "reverse migration" from urban to rural sectors, giving new meaning to the term "India Shining".

Being a volunteer at TAA means:

You could be a student who wants to add hands-on experience in the field of social engineering, as part of your school or college curriculum.
You could be working for a company or having your own business, and would like to take a meaningful break from the routine to stimulate your being within, to bring out best in yourself.
You could be a full time home maker, and would like to use your leisure time creatively by "giving back to society".

You can help children:
Teach them to speak and read English, learn computer skills, learn their subjects in a fun way, learn music, singing, sports and other creative arts, etc.

Get Involved for a Valuable Experience (GIVE)
Although TAA is just about two years old as a registered body, its present Directors and Trustees have been receiving students from Sweden for their educational exchange programs since 1994, with SWINDIA. The same has been now conducted under the banner of TAA–GIVE .

TAA-GIVE receives qualified individuals to Pune-India to do development work with highly motivated non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and with TAA’s own projects.

TAA takes min 8 & Max 24 members, for three months exchange program, beginning in Jan to March and June to November of each year.

Acceptance into the program is highly competitive and the program selects only the most committed and promising individuals for this exchange program.

Members work in a variety of development which includes Education, Environment and Empowerment projects.

Please note that TAA conducts projects in the rural sectors as well. All volunteers will need to undergo an orientation session at the TAA Head Office, Pune. The volunteers are expected to take care of expenses for food, accommodation and travel by themselves. TAA will assist in arranging for these facilities.
